How to Play

Line up two teams three metres apart, each in single rank and facing the other. Have the players of each team number off so that the holders of each number stand opposite each other. The teacher stands between the lines at one end. Establish a line at each end as turning lines, five metres from the players. The teacher calls a number, for instance 'Three'. The two players holding this number run to one end turning line, then to the other bend turning line, and then back to their positions. The player who comes to attention in his position first scores one point for his team. The team that scores seven points first wins.
