How to Play

Arrange the players in rows of eight or ten, one behind the other, with their arms sideward joined. One player is selected as the cat, and the other the mouse. The cat chases the mouse in between the lines. The teacher gives the command 'change', those who stand in the line release their hands and do a left turn, and join hands on the left and right thus erecting new alleys. Cat and mouse must keep to the alleys only. If the cat touches the mouse, the cat becomes the mouse and the mouse becomes the cat.
